I never did read the manga or watch the anime, but I did watch season 1 ages ago - it was one of my first dramas. Season 2 is my favourite too, though! I like the Akame chemistry, I like their friends, and I like that Oguri Shun is not in it. (Sorry, Ina, I just object to him...) I think the only thing I liked better about the first season was Yankumi's love interest. They get progressively more bland and boring as the seasons go on!
