I swear this comment looked shorter when I read it on my PDA...
Why, yes. That would be the UST. All that staring, that obsessive want want want want want staring insufficently disguised as contempt and hostility. Could they have been any more obvious?
That right there is the most interesting relationship in the entire series. All this "will they, won't they", and we even get a balcony scene.
That... had never occurred to me before. Clearly my mind isn't dirty enough.
I didn't think mine was, but I was watching with headphones this time and it's amazing the things you catch that you missed first time around.
OTOH, maybe when they're talking, he's a restraining (heee, okay, yes, yes) influence.
He's quite clearly the one most likely to think before he acts (although how much thinking he does where Hayato's concerned is debatable). I think the two of them suit each other rather well - Hayato gets held in check till Ryu says it's okay, and then all hell breaks loose.
Hm, I'm not sure I'd call that stupid. I think he's got a point when he says there wasn't much else he could do.
Stupid in terms of his own health and continued survival, then.
maybe he was trying to provoke them to make sure they got the business done quickly. :-)
That was the impression I got, yes. I mean, he left his bag, he had to know someone would figure it out eventually and come after him. Guess he wasn't expecting Ryu to come to his rescue, though!
Ryuu looks like a much better fighter than Hayato. IDK if it's because he simply is one or because he was more serious about it there.
Ryu looks more serious about everything. (Sorry, I don't put the second 'u' as I confuse myself and think I'm writing about Ryuu from Tantei Gakuen Q!) When Hayato tries to look serious, it doesn't really work, but that would be down to Jin's "acting" style at the time. But Ryu certainly does look more impressive. I love watching him. ^_^
Really looking forward to your review of the next one! :-)
Thank you! Coming shortly to a screen near you... I'm attempting one a week, I think, and as I've got the day off work tomorrow I will probably do it then - or some time on the weekend, at least. Garage scene!
